What is there more kindly than the feeling between host and guest?
— Aeschylus

Old Stone House Farm, LLC is a working farm growing specialty cut flowers and offering a two room Bed & Breakfast. Everyone is welcome here. We are AirBnb Super Hosts — we’ve hosted hundreds of guests since 2016 with rave reviews! We celebrate diversity and are LGBT-friendly.

The Property

Enjoy gorgeous hilltop views of Wisconsin farmland, beautiful no matter the season. Year-round, walk our half-mile treeline and stop to enjoy the view at one of the several park benches around the property. Bring cross country skis or snowshoes when winter cooperates! Come back in May and enjoy ninety vintage lilac bushes in bloom. Explore the flower beds and the greenhouse in spring, summer and fall. Our home is beautifully custom-designed with wonderful features made for entertaining. Guests are welcome to relax in the front piano room with a two-way fireplace, or at the multi-level patio or fire pit in the back. Enjoy fresh-cut flowers in your room during the growing season, and our dried arrangements all year long. Purchase a bouquet to take home with you!

Breakfast is on your schedule. Depending on what is going on at the farm, breakfast options will range from a delicious hot homemade breakfast to continental with fruit, cereal, yogurt and maybe some homemade scones — but rest assured a bottomless pot of hot coffee or tea is always on the menu, ready for you when you want it. We happily accommodate dietary restrictions if we know in advance. Eat at the kitchen island, in the spacious breakfast nook or outdoors on the patio. Kitchen access for other meal preparation may be considered for special occasions with advance notice.

The Rooms

Old Stone House Farm offers two large and comfortable B&B rooms on the second floor of the house, each affording great views of the property and surrounding countryside. A stair lift on the wide main staircase to the upper level accommodates mobility challenges. A second spiral staircase provides immediate access between the bedrooms and the kitchen or patio. Each large bedroom has a comfortable sitting area and a desk. There is ample space for a Pack ‘n Play if you are traveling with a young child. A large bathroom with two sinks, separate toilet room, and a separate combined bath/shower room is located a short distance from the guest rooms. A refrigerator and microwave are available outside the guest rooms, and laundry facilities are available if needed.

Click below for more about each room.

The two sleeping rooms can be booked at the same time if you’re traveling with a group of up to 8 people. With advance notice, a separate common space with a wet bar on the lower level of the home can be made available, especially convenient as a gathering space for group stays.

We Have Pets!

Our friendly and personable pets share our home. Lily (10 year old yellow lab), Bernard (4 year old golden retriever) and Charlie (the ageless cat) will be very pleased to meet you. The dogs are not allowed in the guest room area, but Charlie will visit if you’re amenable. Our guests tell us they love interacting with our pets! However, if you or your travel companions are uncomfortable with animals or have serious dander allergies, you may be happier staying somewhere else.

The Surroundings
